Il 2 ottobre SuperOtium apre le porte per la presentazione del catalogo della seconda edizione di Look Closer – 7 e 1 opera in camera da letto.
Un progetto che non è una mostra tradizionale, ma un esperimento di sguardi: sette curatrici e curatori hanno scelto sette artiste e artisti per portare le loro opere dentro le camere di SuperOtium, mescolando intimità, ospitalità e ricerca artistica. Ogni stanza ha raccontato una storia diversa, ogni opera ha aperto un varco inatteso, offrendo prospettive che a volte si incontrano, a volte si scontrano, restituendo la complessità e l’energia della Napoli contemporanea.
Durante la presentazione incontreremo alcune/i delle protagoniste/i del progetto insieme a chi ha contribuito alla realizzazione del catalogo: Nicola Ciancio (curatore del catalogo), Manuela Naddeo (editing e grafica) e Amedeo Benestante (fotografie).
Sarà inoltre possibile visitare alcune delle opere installate negli spazi della casa.

Look Closer – 7 and 1 artwork in the bedroom

SuperOtium, via Santa Teresa degli Scalzi 8 – Naples
On October 2, SuperOtium opens its doors for the launch of the catalogue of the second edition of Look Closer – 7 and 1 artwork in the bedroom.
Not a traditional exhibition, but an experiment in looking: seven curators invited seven artists to bring their works into the bedrooms of SuperOtium, blending intimacy, hospitality, and artistic research. Each room told a different story, each work opened an unexpected threshold—sometimes parallel, sometimes in contrast—together reflecting the richness and energy of contemporary Naples.
During the evening, we’ll meet some of the artists and curators alongside those who realized the catalogue: Nicola Ciancio (curator of the catalogue), Manuela Naddeo (editing and graphic design) and Amedeo Benestante (photography).
Guests will also have the chance to visit some of the works installed throughout the house.
